Wouter Dekker Director of Operations EHM Group
Wouter Dekker has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of Operations at EHM Group. In this position, he will be responsible for the direct management of all the company’s hotel operations.

Dekker has been working for EHM Group since autumn 2018, where he started as General Manager of the Hotel Haarhuis in Arnhem that had just been acquired. In the years that followed, he managed to transform the hotel from “middle of the road” into a unique hotel that will be adorned with 5 stars from next March. Since the addition of event venue De Koepelgevangenis (Arnhem) and Veluwe Hotel De Beyaerd (Hulshorst), he had already been Area General Manager. From now on, the other operations and all new acquisitions will also fall under his leadership. Wouter gained international experience in London and Brussels where he worked at Hilton, Marriott and IHG. Before EHM Group, he held various senior management positions at Apollo Hotels.
EHM Group states its ambition to grow strongly in the coming years. Just last week, Engelenburg Castle was added to the portfolio. In order to support the hotels more efficiently and professionally, a shared services division has also been set up. This will house all common services (commerce, finance, HR and purchasing) that provide support to the companies.
